Morden Regional Airport, home of the Morden Flying Club, is located 3 minutes outside of Morden, and 2 miles from the Boundary Trails Health Centre. It is frequently used for medi-vac flights, and is a popular stop off point for East/West travellers. The asphalt runway is excellent for training purposes and fly in events, and winter maintenance is excellent, provided by the city of Morden.
Hangars are privately owned, and the Morden Flying Club is very approachable if temporary hangar space is required, and available. Tie downs are also available.
Within a few minutes of flying distance is the very scenic Pembina Valley.
With the use of the club’s courtesy car, a visit to the airport can include a drive into Morden to the West, or Winkler to the East, offering a wide selection of eating establishments and tourist activities. Check out our “Links” menu. There is a Best Western Hotel a 2 minute drive from the airfield, offering an economical and comfortable overnight stay.
